Adevinta employees from 12 countries gathered in Sitges, Spain, this week to celebrate Adevinta’s first employee recognition and awards event. The theme of the event was Ignite.
“An ignition is a change, a starting point for something new, and that is very appropriate for the moment where we are today, as we are getting started as Adevinta,” said Rolv Erik Ryssdal in his keynote speech.
“Today we are both an old and a new company, and we have the advantages of both. Our heritage from Schibsted gives us a proud history and strong foundations. We have leading brands; we have talented teams and managers. At the same time, we have the advantages of being a young company, ready to shape our own destiny. We have the energy and drive to be a top player in our industry.”
The event brought together top performing salespeople from across Adevinta, continuing the long tradition of the Schibsted Sales Awards. Additionally, it introduced the new Adevinta Culture Awards, celebrating the people who live Adevinta’s core values and key behaviors every day. Ignite also provided opportunities for learning and development, with best practice case studies, networking, and professional development sessions.
Congratulations to all of the Adevinta Award winners!
