Senior Manager Financial Central Controlling
What you’ll do
The Adevinta Central controlling team (2 people) is responsible for 2 main activities: coordination activities of the the Regional controlling team in Adevinta (based in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Benelux) and the Controlling of the non-operational holding entities in NL, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
This role is very well connected with the central teams in Barcelona (FP&A, Treasury, legal, HR) and the Shared Services teams in Romania and India.
You will be the manager of the controller in your team
Your responsibilities will be:
Play a key coordinating role in the month end Close activities and group reporting of the various Regional controlling teams in France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Benelux). These responsibilities are:
Delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings by working closely with all internal and external Financial Controllers and Analysts
Onestream and SAP S4 HANA reporting
Trial Balance review and flux analysis
Coordinate Intercompany Allocations and cross charges
Project accounting
Payroll coordination and expense report coordination
Coordinate local statutory audits in various countries
Liaise with the Company’s legal & tax advisors a.o. reviewing or submitting tax declarations and required forms with the authorities, or other locally required reporting and submissions
Liaise & report to local authorities on local required reporting and submissions.
Who you are
You have earned a bachelor or master’s degree in the areas of Controlling or Finance & Accounting
Minimum 10 years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling role, preferably in an international global environment
Strong analytical (excel) skills and an affinity with numbers
Strong interpersonal skills
Able to work & prioritize independently in an international matrix organization
Extended experience in working with accounting software (SAP S4 HANA preferred);
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Being fluent Spanish, German, French or Dutch is a plus.
