Job Description
We are currently looking for a Yield Team Manager to join our Advertising Team at Adevinta. You will report into the Advertising Product and Operations Director and work closely with other Advertising Managers, Ad Technology, Product Management, Analytics, Sales and Development teams.
What you’ll do:
As manager of the team, you will be responsible of gathering overall advertising performance data and main KPIs
Responsible for backlog priorization, organization and visibility to other teams
Identify and investigate day-to-day revenue fluctuations, anomalies and inconsistencies
Collaborate in providing pricing strategy, planning and priorization in yield related projects
Work with both internal and external teams to troubleshoot any technical issues related to the programmatic ad stack
Help establish processes, documentation, and structure to the development of yield management and the team
Utilise rate comparison reports to identify and react to pricing opportunities within the business
Responsible for attending weekly meetings and daily standups giving value to the advertising team and managers through actionable insights or inputs
In charge of producing month end reports with strong emphasis on past, current and future performance analysis as well as action planning
Supporting the sales team with promotional information to drive sales
Manage price floors across all sites and demand channels
Optimise ad inventory availability and yield in order to maximise revenue growth
Own & lead ad testing and optimisation of ad inventory to ensure optimal revenue yield balancing across multiple advertising channels (Display, Google AdSense for Search/Shopping)
Lead the Reporting of budget, revenue performance and industry metrics to drive insights
Utilise dedicated systems and tools to identify key trends and provide action-based outcomes from those trends and opportunities for growth
Review past performance to ensure that Business metrics have been met and are on track to reach performance goals
Coordinate with other areas, including sales, programmatic, and operations
Collaborate on revenue reporting and forecasting
Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to the business on yield tracking, and programmatic revenue tracking
Work with the Product and Sales team to provide guidance on pricing for programmatic and direct sales floor rates and support the sales team for business propositions on discounts and offers
Who you are:
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, focussed on yield or revenue management
Experience of leading a team
Highly analytical and detail oriented; skilled in exploring data, discovering patterns, relationships, anomalies and trends
Experience in long range planning and forecasting models
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Competitor analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Familiarity with A/B Testing and experiment design
Strong excel and PPT skills for reporting and team presentations
Working experience with analytics platforms like Tableau and Google Analytics
Solid understanding of ad-technology platforms
Strong attention to detail,ability to translate data into understandable & actionable information, excellent organisational and problem solving skills
Understanding of CPM, CPC and CPA models with knowledge of WEB & App ad serving
