We’re currently looking for a BACKEND Senior Developer (Go) to join the Payment Crew, at leboncoin.
You’ll be working on the payment platform and be located in Paris.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, comprising Backend Engineer, Frontend, QAA, reporting to an Engineering Manager and working directly with the Product Owner, you will take part in the feature development process using the Scrum/Agile method.
What you will do
As a BACKEND Senior Developer, you’ll participate to offer the best payment experience for our users. We have to implement new payment methods, guarantee the transaction between buyer and seller, secure the payment journey and control user identity for anti-fraud purposes.
Our ongoing projects are to open our payment platform to new marketplaces in Adevinta and to be able to switch easily between multiple payment stakeholders (Multi-PSP, Multi-EscrowProvider …).
You will be responsible for :
Participating actively in the payment crew and share global vision beyond your team
Coding, testing, running, improving, designing our payment platform
Bringing your technical vision during feature grooming
Contributing to improve our technical stack and team process
Engaging yourself in the backend guild as a relay of your team
Supporting junior backend developers
Leading interview during some recruitment process
In addition to your duties, as a member of the leboncoin Backend Guild, you will be able to follow technological developments and take initiatives to improve the stack, and more generally join a company where you can put forward your ideas and put them into practice.
Who you are
We’re looking for a creative person who can help us raise the bar, challenge our current set-up and improve our solution.
You are a GO Senior Developer with at least 3 to 5 years professional experience in software development who enjoys developing good quality software.
You are familiar with Kafka, Postgre, Datadog and Kibana.
You are confident in the micro services architecture and REST APIs.
You have good oral and written communication skills in English.
You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
And of course you’re used to Scrum/Agile methodologies and have a natural aptitude for working in a team (peer-programming, mob programming … not mandatory but frequent) in a good atmosphere!
