Job Description

As the Advertising Operations Manager (d/f/m), you hold a pivotal role within our advertising operations team, which stands as a cornerstone stakeholder for our engineering, product, and business teams. Your primary responsibility is to swiftly investigate and resolve reported issues originating from the operations team, stakeholders, and product teams, ensuring the seamless functioning of our advertising technology stack and safeguarding business continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue Management: Act as the first point of contact for all adtech-related issues reported by stakeholders, product teams, and the operations team. Prioritize and manage the investigation of issues, adhering to established SLAs for response and resolution.

  • Troubleshooting and Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into reported issues, analysing logs, and system behaviour to identify root causes. Work closely with the adtech specialists and engineers to understand the technical aspects of the issues.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including adtech specialists, product teams, and engineering, to communicate technical details of issues and facilitate their resolution. Ensure clear and timely communication throughout the issue resolution process.

  • Issue Resolution: Provide timely and effective solutions to Level 1 adtech issues. Resolve basic problems independently and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams, tracking the progress of problem resolution.

  • Knowledge Base Management: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for adtech troubleshooting, documenting common issues and their resolutions. Regularly update the knowledge base to ensure it reflects the most current information.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor adtech systems and campaigns to proactively identify potential issues or anomalies. Prepare regular status reports on issue resolution progress and share updates with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a technical support or troubleshooting role, preferably in the adtech industry or digital advertising domain, or a strong affinity for technology and willingness to learn.

  • Solid understanding of adtech platforms, APIs, and technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly comprehend technical complexities and identify root causes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple concurrent investigations effectively.

  • Familiarity with advertising operations and campaign management will be advantageous.
